With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses at UK blood cancer centres, giving patients access to treatments through clinical trials. This support drives global significant advancements in blood cancer, impacting those affected by the disease.

Story

Many people have told me that I need a hair cut.....

So I'm going get one after 3 years of growth without a single trim I will be shaving the whole thing off for Cure Leukaemia and Anthony Nolan Trust.

This January will be 10 years since my bone marrow transplant. To mark the landmark I can't see anything better than shaving my head and raising a bit of money for the charities that helped me through it all. These charities have helped me not once, not twice but three times and I am grateful for them and all the hospital staff for me being here today.

The shave will be an event in itself hoping to raise even more on a fundraising night. The kind poeple at the Littleton Arms have kindly let us use the venue.

In the lead up to the main event (the head shave) there will be various games, raffles and hopefully an auction as well as a disco. One of the raffles will be the lucky winner that gets to shave my head.

The event will be held at The Littleton Arms, Stafford Rd, Cannock, WS12 4PD on Saturday 16th January 2016 @ 19:00

I hope hat you can come along and support our evening, if not a donation on this link would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to raise a 50/50 split with Anthony Nolan Trust and Cure Leukaemia.
