I joined a Himex expedition lead by Russell Brice to climb Everest in 2015. We were lucky enough to escape injury in the earthquake at basecamp. Others in the Langtang valley where Himex had a trekking party were much less lucky. Three trekkers and seven members of their support team were lost without trace in a massive landslide that buried a whole village. I am working, under the umbrella of Community Action Nepal and with Himex to raise funds to help the surviving families of the seven support team members who perished.
