At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having secured my place in this years Marathon I have decided to raise money for the Alzheimers society. Dementia currently affects over 750,000 people in the UK. The Alzheimer’s Society provides information and support for those with any form of dementia and their carers along with research into a cure. My grandad had Alzheimer's, it was heartbreaking seeing someone you love gradually losing all their memory over the years and I am sure that because of it his life was ended early.

1 in 3 people will develop some sort of dementia in their life.. A worthy charity to support by  us all.... Any donations would be grately appreciated...
