Wetherby Races 2020 · 14 October 2020

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

We have decided to postpone the Spinal Research Wetherby Race Day which was due to take place on Wednesday 14th October 2020. This is due to a combination of factors but in particular the coronavirus.

If anyone is able and would like to kindly donate the money they would have spent at the race day then we would be extremely grateful. We are delighted to announce that your donation will be matched by a generous chap from Yorkshire, up to £20,000. Please help relieve this person of their money!

Your donations really count, especially now.

I do hope you will consider supporting Spinal Research at this challenging time. If you would prefer to send a cheque or make a payment over the phone then please contact Louise at louise@spinal-research.org

We look forward to celebrating our 30th anniversary race day at Wetherby with you next year, with a spectacular event.

Stay strong
