A conversation in the Pub with Phil Ward lead to me joining the JRR Cycle event to support Cumbria Community Foundation. I will be riding as part of "Team Cumberland" having just started working for the Building Society in February.

The route is 55 Miles including 2 Stints up Winlatter Pass and one over Newlands Pass.  My previous long distance cycle record is 41 Miles on mainly fairly level roads compared to the JRR.

My goal is to make it to the end, even if it takes all day.
