The Orwell Walk 2017 · 25 June 2017 ·

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

Many of you will know of the good work St Elizabeth Hospice has done over the years. Some of you may have been touched by the help they have provided.

From a personal point of view, my parents were both very well looked after by the Hospice in their final days and words cannot fully express the good caring work that they continue to do.

This year, I will be celebrating two milestones: i) My 60th Birthday and ii) 38 years of service with Willis Towers Watson.

Therefore, there could be no better occasion for me to do something worthwhile and raise some money for St Elizabeth Hospice.

I have registered to undertake the Orwell 25  mile walk – a well know annual Walk that raises money for local and national charities

Daniel, my eldest son, will be walking with me, to ensure his old man gets around in one piece! Hopefully his previous experience can get us through.

We would  appreciate any financial sponsorship you are willing to give.
