Fundraising for Chris Lucas Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2019, let's just say that my Great North Run didn't turn out quite the way I hoped (see picture below). Collapsing with heat exhaustion at the finish line and spending the afternoon recovering in the med-tent and then in hospital wasn't part of the plan.
That said, this year I am heading back to the North East and running again for the Chris Lucas Trust.
This year no silly costumes, no setting off too fast (well that is the plan at least) and no trying to finish inside 2 hours - just finish and raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity.
Chris Lucas Trust is a charity that is 100% committed on finding a cure for the childhood cancer Rhabdomyosarcoma. By donating to this page, you will be funding research in to this brutal cancer that impacts the soft tissue of children throughout the UK.
