You may know that the people of South Sudan are recovering from decades of war and displacement, but do you know that more than 80% live below the poverty line?  Over 40% urgently need food assistance.  Natural disasters (floods, locusts) have worsened living conditions.  

Funding for sustainable farming will help stabilize food supplies.  Please contribute if you can, in any amount:  $5 = one day of food and education for a farmer and their family, $25 = 1 week of food and education for a farmer and their family, $100 = 1 month of food and education for a farmer and their family, $500 = 0.5 acre of land, 1 shovel, 1 pick, and food and education for a farmer and their family for 100 days.
