We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

On 18th September 2011, I will be undertaking a 25-mile walk along the Yorkshire Coast, to raise funds for the NSPCC and Childline. This is part of a 'dual' effort - with a separate walk talking place in Scotland in October - aimed at raising £1,000 through Leeds Walking Group.

The money raised will go equally towards the NSPCC and to Childline, providing funds towards supporting children in difficult circumstances. This could mean giving help to a family who are having problems coping, or to providing a listening ear on the other end of the 'phone if a young person needs someone to talk to.

Any money that you can contribute towards this would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Robin
