Fundraising for FoundationDB
Story
I have never being much of a runner... (at all) and could barely run more than a mile or so a few months ago... Nevertheless, I shall be running with a purpose with my good friend Jazzmin Letitia in Birmingham's Black Country HALF MARATHON 6th July 2019.
All donations supporting this will help raise funds for the independent, well deserved, non profitable charitable organisation Foundation DB dedicated to 'Helping People Help Themselves'.
Foundation DB supports 3 charities who do just that and make such a difference :
The YMCA Open Door
Providing assisted housing for vulnerable young people that find themselves without a home.
HELP REFUGEES UK
Who support displaced families and children fleeing war from different corners of the earth to seek the safety of the UK.
YUWA
A school in rural India that uses football to keep girls out of child marriage and in education (Which I visited last MAY and saw the fantastic work being done)
