Our vision is a future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Story

So here I go again with another attempt to reach my target for the MeningitisTrust.

The Three 'B' Triple Challenge should ensure that all you generous people out there feel I have earned the sponsorship and be sure I shall !!

If you watch the news then check for anyone in a kayak drifting somewhere off the Isle of Wight as the first challenge is to kayak round Hayling Island. Not having been in a canoe since my teenage years (some time ago now) it will be an interesting experience.

The second challange will be an 80 mile Bike Ride as while I am not that fond of my bike saddle I can't let all those hundreds of miles in training go to waste. At least not yet.

And finally the third challenge will be a 25 mile hike across the South Downs and on to Hayling Island. Hence the boots.

If that lot doesn't make you feel I'm earning my sponsorship money then just remember the story about Cailin and the need to ensure that people know about the devastating effect that Meningitis can have.

Many thanks in advance and the very best of good wishes.
