Rod Payne is raising money for St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) Ltd

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday the 15th of September I will be walking 6 miles to raise money for the amazing St Wilfrid's Hospice, they kindly helped with my father-in-law Michael Barnett who was taken from us too early from Parkinson's. Not only did St Wilfrid's make a difference to Michael, but also his wife Sally who had been caring for Michael for many years.
We all hope that neither ourselves or loved ones will ever need such care and support, but it is rarely the case that ourselves, friends or family will never need such support. St Wilfrid's cover Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all the points in between.
In 2016-17 it cost £5.7 million to provide all of their services, provided free of charge to those who need them, which 70% is raised through the local community.

I KNOW ITS ONLY A 6 MILE WALK AND IM NOT DOING SOMETHING LIKE JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE AT 40,000 FT WITHOUT A PARACHUTE, BUTS ITS ALL ABOUT THE CAUSE.
