Several years ago, whilst searching for company for my rescue dog, I came across DogsFriends. A very small, but very personal charity, doing utterly amazing work rescuing dogs from terrible conditions, like puppy farms and those neglected. Run on a shoestring, the volunteers work tirelessly to ensure every animal in their care is given whatever medical treatment it needs, ensuring the best possible chance for its future. 

The majority of their wards are fostered by the small army of selfless foster parents, setting them up with both a loving environment and once again, the very best possible chance of being rehomed.

DogsFriends currently has an enormous veterinary bill to pay, and that is why I will be throwing myself into Portishead Marina on the 21st September, with the awesome NewFound Friends who are helping support this fundraising.
