For 2015 I wanted to make a New Year Resolution to keep. Working as a vet at Delaware Veterinary Group in Castle Cary, over the years I have forged close working links with Happy Landings Animal Shelter and Greyhound Rescue for the West of England. Both organisations rely on charitable donations to fund the excellent work they do for the animals taken into their care.
 
Happy Landings Animal Shelter have a team of highly dedicated and experienced staff who between them have many years experience of dealing with difficult, harrowing and challenging situations concerning animal neglect and cruelty. The centre is able to rehome up to 300 animals per year.

Greyhound Rescue for the West of England (GRWE) is dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of unwanted, abused or abandoned greyhounds and lurchers. GRWE takes in greyhounds of all ages from puppies to golden oldies! They are able to rehome up to 500 dogs every year.
