COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Glasgow City Council has arranged a seven-a-side football tournament to raise funds for the victims of the Clutha Vaults incident last year. The tournament will involve representatives from the emergency services who responded on the night and a media select.

The event will take place between 11.30am and 1.30pm on Sunday March 16. We have teams from Fire and Rescue Scotland, Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service, parliamentarians, councillors, as well as the council officers taking part. We also hope to have some former professional footballers taking part as part of the Lord Provost's select.
The format of this tournament will be two groups of 4 with a final and play-offs, the first game will kick off at 1130hrs.
