Hello and welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. First of all, let us briefly introduce ourselves; we are a group of fathers and teachers (and one ex-gap year teacher from Australia!) who all have a connection to Ludgrove School, Berkshire and are keen to give back to those kids whose life chances have been set back over the last year.

This group have set themselves the challenge of completing an ever-increasing press-up marathon: starting with one press-up on the 1st January and then adding one per day for the rest of the year. This means that come the 31st December, we will each be completing 365 press-ups, have done 364 the day before. With ages spanning from the 30s to the 50s, some of the more 'experienced' members of the team will be adding one per day to the middle of the year (182 press-ups at their peak) and then reducing the number completed by one per day until the year end.

To put this into context, those doing the full challenge will be completing a staggering 66,795 press-ups in the year (with the half challenger completing and equally eye-watering 33,489) each!
