Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

As some of you may know, our son Rory was diagnosed with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome after we were referred to the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin at our 20 week scan. From then on our lives changed forever.

After months of travelling to Dublin for appointments,On Monday 16th march 2020 we made our last trip up and our little boy Rory was born.

We spent a few days in hospital and were so happy when we got to bring him home to meet everyone.unfortunatley Rory only got to spend one night at home with us and passed away the following morning at only 4 days old💔

Because of Rory's condition we were put in touch with a lady called Sheila Hayes, she was a nurse from jack and jill.Sheila was there to help us care for Rory towards the end of his short life. She was like another member of the family that morning and went above and beyond to do anything she could for us.We will be forever grateful we had Sheila with us that day.

We are hoping we can raise enough money for a nurse to help a family that are in the unfortunate position that we were in 4 months ago.

Jack and Jill is an amazing charity and these nurse's are hero's.They have an unbelievably hard job and deserve all the gratitude they get so we would be so grateful for any donation at all towards our sponsored walk in memory of Rory💙 xxx

We have the BEST and a very supportive group of friends who came up with this idea #TogetherforRory,to do a sponsered walk to the"stairway to heaven" and to raise funds for this fantastic charity.20 of us will be heading to fermanagh to take part in this fundraiser on August 29th #TogetherforRory

Thanks in advance for all your donations

Roma,Chris and our amazing group of friends 😁💙
