For the fifth year in a row, Liberty Global employees and friend from around the world are joining together to raise money for Lessons for Life Foundation's Big Ride for Africa. This challenge is a unique combination of endurance, determination and fundraising.

I will join the Big Ride for Africa this year and will cycle 275 km from The Netherlands to Belgium, we will start at our Liberty Global offices in Amsterdam and cross the finish line at our Telenet offices in Mechelen on day 2.

The reason I am doing this is not the physical challenge but the satisfaction of knowing that with my ride I will help send disadvantaged children in Africa, who might not otherwise have the opportunity, to go to school.
