cutting my hair and donating it to the Little Princess Trust · 20 April 2013

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided a year ago to grow my hair out so that I could give it a big chop and donate it to a charity. The Little Princess Trust makes wigs for sick kids, usually ones that are fighting cancer. After a hair donation, a further £350 is usually required to make a wig. I'm hoping to raise at least part of this cost so that someone can make use of my hair.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Even £1 would be much appreciated, so get donating if you're interested in this cause!
