WE DID IT! In the beautiful London sunshine, we completed the 13.1 miles. It was a hot one but we loved it! Thank you so much for all your kind donations, it really motivated us to keep going. Thanks to our supporters too who cheered us all the way around. We loved it so much, we are already planning our next half marathon in March! On a more serious note, the reason we are raising money for Shooting Stars is because of the amazing support and care they have given to my gorgeous nephew Rian and his family. Rian was diagnosed with Menkes, a rare terminal genetic disease, when he was 6 months old. Shooting Stars Hospice is a place that Rian loves to visit every week where he is looked after with great affection and he always has a huge smile on his face when he visits. They have also given great support to my sister during difficult times when they have been able to offer much needed respite from the 24/7 care that my nephew requires.
