The Harington Scheme is an unique learning programme for people, mainly young, with learning disabilities and/or difficulties to help them into employment, further education or a more rewarding life through appropriate learning opportunities. The Scheme is situated in North London and attracts learners from all over the capital.

Story

Our school has a yearly 'Be The Change' project where certain groups have to address a problem in society, and help in whatever way we can. Our group decided that people with disabilities are too often excluded from society, so we wanted to help raise money for The Harington Scheme. On Tuesday the 13th of November we managed to cycle 125km as a group in 35 minutes, cycling around 16km each.
