Rosanna Silver is raising money for Mercy Ships
Story
Over the last 15 years I have been really privileged to have nursed many hundreds of sick children cared for by the NHS. So often we take it for granted, but access to free healthcare in the UK is an amazing system, and one that most countries could only dream of. Having gleaned much experience in the NHS as a nurse, I now feel called to use that experience and my skills in a developing country with those who are not so fortunate.
This is entirely unpaid voluntary work, but I will need to find the cost of my travel, board and lodging on the ship to help me to help Mercy Ships carry out their wonderful work. We can all help by changing one precious life at a time so please help me and Mercy Ships by giving as GENEROUSLY as you can.
Mercy Ships do amazing work in providing free medical care to people living in extreme poverty, so I've decided to leave my current job and volunteer for them early next year. I'll be going to the East coast of Madagascar to meet the Africa Mercy ship. There I will be living aboard for three months and helping deliver the medical care... but I can't do that alone! I would like to invite you to join me in this exciting work. This will be a fantastic opportunity to share God's love and care for the Madagascan people by doing what I can to meet some of their most pressing practical needs, and I would love you to be a part of this! I'll be rolling my sleeves up and getting stuck in, and I would be enormously grateful if you would seriously consider supporting me financially.
