Story
In a time that the majority of the population are struggling, self-care is becoming essential. When it comes to mental health, people are finding it hard to get the help they need in the current circumstances.
For a while now I've been struggling to leave the house on my own. I get nauseous, flushed and chest pains when I'm on my way out and before long I find myself retreating back on the couch to my true crime documentaries before a panic attack follows. It's pretty debilitating. I'm not able to get the therapy I need as it requires face to face sessions so for now I need to practice some self-care.
I've decided to walk 30 miles over the course of October to try and improve my mental health, sleep quality and confidence. What better incentive than to raise money for a charity that helped me when I needed it most. Anything you can give will be much appreciated and give me the moral support I need.
