Never Forget
Campaign by Chester Zoo (RCN 306077)
EEHV is a deadly virus that affects young elephants both in zoos and in the wild. 80% of elephants struck by EEHV will die. Your donations will help us fight the disease as we search for a cure.

Story

We visit the zoo often and our favourite thing to do is get a coffee and go and see how the elephants are doing.

Last year, we stood for a long while and watched 2 year old calf Hari teasing Bala, they were playing in the waterfall and just generally making mischief. It was a really lovely day.

Since we sadly lost both Hari and Bala to EEHV last year, we have decided to do our little bit to raise money to find a cure. This awful disease kills young elephants, not just in zoos, but in the wild too. With a little bit more research, we can put a stop to this and eliminate one more thing that threatens elephants.

So on June 12th, we'll be walking 15 miles along the Wirral Coast. We'd love it if you could sponsor us just £5 to help us on our way.
