The Prisoners Education Trust believes that education has the power to enrich, change and develop people throughout their lives. Offering prisoners access to education improves their self-esteem and enables them to choose a more constructive way of life making it less likely they will reoffend.  

It is an organisation who I am proud to say My Dad was a founding member. In recent months i have had the opportunity to get to know the current team at PET and meet individuals it has helped. I have been incredibly impressed by the work that the PET do and their attitude to fundraising and helping prisoners benefit from education. 

Founded in my birth year, this charity has gone from strength to strength. It's not just the charity that's grown; Countless individuals as well, ensuring safer and more productive individuals returning to communities and giving back to society.PET is helping to change someone's direction for the better of everyone

My hope is, that i may continue to raise awareness of the work that PET do and with that, encourage people to also support this charity. Be that through time, money or other support.
