We are the UK’s leading autism research charity. Our mission is to create breakthroughs that enable all autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.

Story

Autistica is the UK’s national autism research charity. We focus on giving autistic people the opportunity to live long, happy, healthy lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.

Charlie, Rosie’s son, who very sadly died while in the lower 6th at Wellington College,  loved this charity  and had developed a strong connection through his association with Carwarden House Community School, a school for pupils with special educational needs.  He spent many happy Wednesday afternoons with their pupils both at Cawarden and at wellington. The tradition has continued and Ollie our youngest son has also loved his afternoons with the Carwarden school over the last year, with them being the highlight of his fifth form year.

We are now embarking on running the London marathon to raise some funds for this wonderful charity. We have decided to challenge ourselves a little more this time and we are running it dressed as crayons, so there is no chance that you will miss us!

Please do donate if you feel able and thank you so much for all your support for us all.
