The aim of this event is to address two causes. The first is to showcase a variety of cultures, cherish our differences and to form a community. The second is to ensure that, through this event we are able to support a greater cause from the profits. The charity we are working with is Future Hope, who have been a positive influence in many childrens' lives. To address both these cuases, as the models in this fashion show, each of you will be hosting at least 1 event over the next 8 weeks, to spread awareness and raise money. The events that you host shall have all the support and advertising you need from Desi society. We are very happy to be the hosts of the first ever south asian charity fashion show - but the true happiness will be to see everyone getting involved in any way they can.
