Personal message from Rosie

As you can see I managed to finish in a time of 1 hour 6 mins which is pretty grand because I hadn't managed to reach 6 miles in training due to a niggling knee so was highly delighted to make it all the way. I ran the last 4k with a lovely man called Steve from Kingswells who helped take my mind off my pain, and I in turn managed to encourage him too, we both chatted about our children and before we knew it we had reached the end, he disappeared into the crowd but I am grateful to his support.

I am also grateful to the many friends who have donated to my chosen charity the Bethany Trust and hope that tere will still be some donations to come.

Thanks again

PS Andy had a knee injury from snow boarding so didn't manage to run! But there is always next year!

God Bless
