Cardiac Risk in the YoungVerified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845, SC052581
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

In January 2017 a special friend to me lost a best friend to an underlying heart condition.
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. It would mean so much to me to raise money for this special charity and for Liam's young son Louie and wife Sarah to help diagnose underlying heart conditions and bring as much awareness as I can for CRY.

Il be running Tewkesbury Half Marathon on the 14th of May and hope to raise as much as I can for this charity.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
