This walk will take place on what would have been my Dad's 80th birthday- Saturday 10th July. I have been walking a lot recently in a bid to lose weight and get fit, and decided that I should do something worthwhile. My Dad was a wonderful person and I miss him every day. He died January 13th 2000 from Motor Neurone Disease; a diease which causes the muscles in the body to effectively waste away. My dad lost the ability to speak and swallow, and had to be fed through a tube fitted to his stomach. Through all of this he still maintained his sense of humour, his spirit and his deep love for all of his family. For you Dad xxxxxx
