Story

Thanks for supporting our fundraising, it means a lot to us.

Rosie’s step dad, George, was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer before Christmas. Back in the day he was an avid hiker and still would be if it’s wasn’t for Cancer taking over his body. Only a few months ago he was cycling and walking around 7 miles every other day. We have many wonderful family memories hiking up various mountains, especially Snowdon and going on ‘George walks’ that were always double the length we were expecting! Rosie has always loved walking and would love to take on some mountains again so this is the perfect opportunity to get the walking boots back on and raise some money in the process.

Macmillan  Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
