Ross' Solo Great Divide Mountain Bike Route

Great Divide Mountain Biking Route · 1 August 2017
In July I will be setting off on the Great Divide Mountain Biking Route, a 4300km+ off road mountain bike ride that starts in Banff, Canada, and follows the Continental Divide though to the Mexican border.
The route goes through some of the remotest parts of the United States, with reliable sources of food and water over 160km apart on certain stretches.
I will be doing it solo, and carrying everything I need for the 8 - 10 weeks on my bike.
While I will make some incredible memories, I am also expecting them to be interspersed with some fairly challenging and lonely moments.
That, along with the fact that mental health is something many of us will struggle with over the course of our lives, means I will be raising money for beyondblue. They provide support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.
