Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

My granddaughter Darcy was diagnosed with CF when she experienced digestive complications shortly after birth. With the fantastic advice on nutrition and support provided by the NHS since her birth two years ago Darcy has not demonstrated any of the issues often associated with the disease.

The CF gene is carried by 1 in every 25 of us and if both parents carry it there is a 1 in 4 chance that the child will inherit the disease, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK charity working to cure this disease that is so debilitating and life threatneing to many of those that have it.

I would therefore appreciate your generosity in helping me reach the £1,500 target.
