Ross and some of the staff at Glasgow Roofing & Building Co are taking part in a Bungee Jump at Killiecrankie, Perthshire on Sunday 6th October 2013 to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House at Yorkhill Children's Hospital.   

We have fundraised for this charity in previous years and raised £750 in 2012 for zip-sliding across the Clyde. 

This year's bungee jump event takes place at the famous site of the Battle of Killiecrankie. A specially constructed bungee jump platform is suspended below the Garry Bridge over the River Garry near Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire, Scotland - See more at: http://www.bungeejumpscotland.co.uk 

Bungee jumping is once-in-a-lifetime free-fall experience of 40 metres towards water from a bridge Bungee jump platform. An airborne flight of a few seconds at over 50 mph before a special Bungee jump cord springs you back to normal, upright, life. 

Around 600 families per year will stay at Ronald McDonald House free of charge while their children receive treatment at Yorkhill Hospital.  The running costs of the house are in the region of £300,000 per year, so please help Glasgow Roofing & Building raise funds by sponsoring us at the Bungee event this year.
