Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dnipro Kids charity are the organisation behind the evacuation of over 50 orphans from Ukraine with their orphanage carers (the "orphanage mums") and are looking after them whilst living here in the relative peace and safety of east Edinburgh.

Earlier in the school year, Ross High raised funds for the charity after Steven Carr, the Chairman of Dnipro Kids and the person responsible for going to Ukraine to evacuate the young people, gave a moving school assembly to all pupils just before Easter.

The school community would like to continue to support the efforts of the charity and are taking part in a number of activities in order to raise further funds. You can donate directly to Dnipro Kids charity using this link and, in doing so, support the staff and pupils of Ross High in their attempt to walk, run or cycle the kilometres the orphans travelled to get here. No donation is too big or too small.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
