Story
Becky Haygarth and other members of a creative team in Rotherfield decided in January to create a Charity Village Music Video to raise money for Comic Relief. We took an exsisting song (Cliff Richards 'Living Doll') and rehashed the lyrics to make it all about Village life. The aim was to have a bit of fun and bring the community together in an attempt to produce something very funny and very tongue-in-cheek, raising money in the process.
We did all the filming the weekend of the 4th/5th March and Ed Paterson of Adventure Dog Productions has been editing and putting it together for the last two weeks.
Sadly, Tony Haygarth, Becky and her sister Katies father passed away peacefully on Friday 10th March and in memory of his charitable nature, community spirit and absolute love for our Kent and Sussex countryside - We decided to release the Music video as Tribute to him.
Comic Relief strive for just and poverty free world which was a policy our Dad believed very strongly in. They also support many Alzheimer's and Dementia Charities.
