3 Peaks Challenge · 19 May 2012

Garden House Hospice Care offers care and support to patients and their families. As a registered charity the hospice is dependent on donations so hospice care can be offered through in-patient admissions, day hospice, hospice at home, out-patients clinics and the family support team.

Story

Please remember to select the Gift Aid, this helps even further.

On Friday 18th May, we will be embarking on the 3 Peaks Challenge. Climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon, all in 24 hours!! This amazing weekend will hopefully raise our target of raising £2,000 for The Garden House Hospice charity in Letchworth (http://www.ghhospice.co.uk/) which my company Retalix UK supports.

I will be taking 3 of my colleagues up to Glasgow, then setting off on Saturday morning to Fort William. This will be the start of the Retalix 3 Peak Challenge! Starting with Ben Nevis, then a 6 hour drive south to Scafell Pike, after which it’s off to Snowdon. From start to end I will have covered just short of 1,000 miles in around 26 hours. Grabbing a nap wherever and whenever possible.

Ok, Ok I know what you might think here "but you’re not climbing?" Well no. And if I were climbing I would be climbing for a total of 13 hours. So whilst I might not be climbing, that driving isn’t going to do itself!

Garden House Hospice is now in its 20 year providing free care and support for patients and their families. This very much needed support can't carry on without funding, and I would ask only to donate just £1 to this event. If you would like to donate more than this, then I would be over the moon, but if all my friends and family could donate just £1 then I will make my target of £250. Anything above that would be fantastic!!

Thanks very much for visiting my page, and thank you very much for any donation you could make.
