My name is June Hunt (nee Stone) and I have lived for most of my life in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. I was born in 1932 and I am Roy’s Niece.

Roy entered the Royal Navy on the 18th of February 1936 and served until his release on 26th November 1945.

His rank was Class A Able seaman, his official number was SSX 17242.
