Celebrating the life of Roy Anstiss

We said goodbye last week to our wonderful, funny, strong daddy who passed away very peacefully about 3pm on Friday April 7.
Witnessing the effects of his dementia in the past few years was painful for us all. Seeing our strong alpha male - a former boxer, policeman, PT Instructor and London cabbie - reduced to an almost childlike state.
But a glimmer of his cheeky personality was there to the end, with the odd bit of banter for his lovely carers or a wink and half smile for his grandchildren.
Dad's big personality and strength will be much missed by us all.
We're hoping that by raising some funds for Alzheimer's Research we can help the journey towards beating this horrible disease and prevent other families and loved ones experiencing such sadness in the future.
