Story

On April 29th this year, our brave little son Malachy died at the age of 11 weeks.

Born with profound challenges, he spent more than half of his life in Crumlin Children's Hospital where he received an incredible level of care from the doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other staff of the Children's Heart Centre and the Paediatric ICU.

I am running this year's Dublin City Marathon in his honour and as a way of giving something back to the wonderful people who looked after him so well and gave Siobhán and me such support.

This is my first marathon and the training has been a real challenge, but running has been a real help to me in the incredibly difficult weeks and month's since Malachy died.

We appreciate any and all support you can give.
