Our village pre-school have been tasked with raising £90,000 this year in order to buy the building they use, or face closure.

It might not seem the most sexy or dramatic of causes, but it will make a real difference to the lives of the youngest children in the village, and is definitely important enough to make me don the dreaded lycra and drag myself out in the great British weather to train.
