Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises funds towards the pioneering work at Alder Hey. Your support ensures the 450,000 children we see each year will have access to the best facilities and equipment, and that the benefits of our innovating work are felt by families throughout the world #JoinUsJoinIn

Story

My granddaughter Tilly was born with a serious heart condition, she has just had  her 6th heart op at Alder Hey hospital Liverpool, she is just 16 month old Run4Tilly is hopefully raising awareness of heart defects in children and the wonderful work that Alder Hey do.

As a family we are indebted to Alder Hey Hospital and as such the Run4Tilly at the Wigan 10K this year will be in support of the Alder Hey Children's Charity AND the McDonald House, this is accommodation for the parents of children who are in intensive care at the hospital

There will also be a sponsored walk, the Walk4Tilly, which will take place on 11th October 2014 and will see Team Tilly walk from the DW Stadium to Haigh Hall and back.to the DW.

Of course the aim is to raise money for the charity, if you feel you can donate something, no matter how small that will also be gratefully accepted by the Alder Hey Children's Charity, if you would like to be involved in any of our events and join Team Tilly then please email us at walk4tilly@hotmail.com
