Fully runs the London Landmarks

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2021 · 1 August 2021 ·
I'm pretty sure after last year I said I was never running again, but...
Dad was referred to the Marsden in June 2018 after the chemo he had been on had been ineffective and his previous hospital were unable to offer any further treatment.
The Marsden were immediately welcoming to us all and were able to talk though a number of possible options including clinical trials. They decided there and then to start dad on a trial, along with referrals to ENT, nutritionists, dieticians and others to sort out the issues he faced with his voice.
Following their care and treatment he has been able to move house, and tick New York off of his bucket list, something that seemed utterly impossible 8 months ago.
This has been an interesting year, the immunotherapy continues to work and has changed all of our lives, but there has been a run in with Sepsis and a car wing mirror to contend with!
This is my little way of saying thank you, and to enable the Marsden to continue treating people like my dad.
Any support/donations you can provide will be much appreciated!
