I am running for cancer research UK, as over this last year cancer has affected me directly through affecting some of the people I care about most, and I don't want that to happen to anyone ever again. If you can donate, you will have provided a metaphorical shovel to the face of one of the ugliest diseases around.

It'll be my first big run since my injury months ago. It's quite scary, knowing I need to be very careful about this, but I love running more than anything - I want to do this, and I want to do it well! The sponsorship you provide will give me the motivation needed to nail this run. 

All donations will go directly to Cancer Research UK and none of it will be used on race costs or transport; I wanted to keep donations pure in nature.
