Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I have never run an official race and somehow I've signed up for Run To The Beat 2012 (http://www.runtothebeat.co.uk/) - a Half Marathon!! 13miles!

It's going to be hard, but nowhere near as hard as it must be living in conflict areas, or the remote, difficult-to-access, distaster struck places that Medair currently serves. Please give generously to Medair's work (shelter, healthcare, and water,sanitation & hygiene) in Afghanistan, D.R.Congo, Haiti, Madagascar, South Sudan, Somalia/Somaliland, Zimbabwe and soon to be in Chad.  

We are also currently responding to the Syrian crisis; sending teams to the Syrian border to being urgent relief to families fleeing the conflict.  You can also choose to give to that emergency fund if you prefer.
