A few things about what we are going through:

Imagine taking a child to the hospital....then imagine being taken into a small room and being told your daughter has cancer...

Imagine having to hold your child down so needles can be inserted....Imagine holding your little baby whilst she screams in pain, unable to do anything to help...

Imagine having to watch your child being taken to theatre for surgery...

Imagine a child connected to several different lines at one time...

Imagine a child vomiting uncontrollably...

Imagine a child unable to leave their hospital bed, for days......sometimes for weeks...

Imagine a child in so much pain, they cannot eat or drink, can't communicate, lost the spark that lights their eyes...

Imagine watching your child being put to sleep for Lumber Punctures....

Imagine having to give chemo to you child.....daily

Imagine a paediatric nurse coming out every week to get bloods from a port that's inserted into the side of your child's chest....

Imagine watching your child change, being angry, sometimes aggressive, constantly crying, when all you want to do is take the disease from them...

Imagine your child saying they don't care, they don't love you and they don't want you to hug them...unfortunately for us, we are living through this nightmare every day.

Now imagine this without any hope.....

We are blessed to have an amazing NHS and charities like Cancer Research UK helping to find cures for this terrible disease.
