Our vision is a future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Story

Here is why I am running for this worthwhile cause

Myself and my family don't want another family to deal with the loss of someone they care about and that is why I am raising money towards research, education and vaccine programmes that could eradicate meningitis completely.

Meningitis is a disease that affects the lining of the brain and can be fatal within days, hours or even minutes.

Meningitis particularly affects babies, children, teenagers and young adults and can be difficult to detect with mild symptoms such as - feeling achy, lethargic, run down or hungover to more severe symptoms of - sensitivity to light, bruising, red pimples, vomiting, fever and high pitched mewling cries from children or babies.

I endeavour to update supporters on my training progress as I train with my husband John who will be raising funds for Age NI. However I will also be putting up case studies and news about my chosen charity.

Thank you for your time and donation
