Bullying can manifest in many different places in many different forms and it's likely you yourself have experienced this too someway or through some form in your life. I could talk about this topic and my views, experience etc., for days but long-story short this is an issue which often has little repercussions for the bullies and can leave victims contemplating their own life.
Suicide rates overall in the UK have slowly declined recent years but it's still a major issue, and however, the rates linked to teenagers have risen for boys and even more for girls. Whilst there are many factors which link to this there's a very clear contributing link to bullying and i believe charities and programmes like 'BulliesOut' can really make a difference and even save lives. It's important for victims to know they are not alone and when they feel in a dark place to know there is a light, charities like this can provide that light and by raising funds for great causes like this we can help fuel those lights which could be all a lonely child who is bullied with no support needs right now in their life and situation.
'There are over 10 million children and young people in the UK and over half of them are bullied. We are one of the UK’s most dedicated and ambitious anti-bullying charities. Our award winning work is delivered across the UK and each year, through our work, we provide education, training and support to thousands of young people affected by bullying.Bullying hurts and we won’t stop until it stops. -'BulliesOut'
