Story
On 4th August Theresa and I are continuing our quest to raise money for Moorfields Eye Hospital. We are competing in the Ride 100 Cycle Race (100 miles in the saddle). Those kind enough to have supported us before will know that Theresa takes part for the thrill of the ride and I do it for the opportunity to wear Lycra. This year is 37 miles longer (or 2.5 hours more in the saddle) than we are used to. We start at the back of 26,000 participants and the risk is that I will come dead last... Surely I can beat Boris! If you fancy trying to spot us it is televised on Sky.
We raise money for Moorfields as Max our son, (in photo on top of page) is severely visually impaired. Moorfields does amazing research into the causes of blindness. We hope that vital research will find cures for blindness and visual impairment. Until that day we will continue to raise money to support them.
We hugely appreciate your support. Thank you.
Theresa and Rupert
