In April 2016 my son Harry was diagnosed with leukaemia.  While his diagnosis knocked the family sideways, Harry’s sense of humour, strength and determination has allowed him to fight the cancer head on.

Harry is continuing to undergo treatment but we are looking
positively towards the future and Harry is super excited about starting school full time later in 2017.

CLIC Sargent have been a huge part of our journey, providing
support, guidance and daily interaction not just with Harry but the whole family. 

Before April 2016, I naively knew very little about CLIC Sargent but will now be a lifelong supporter to ensure young people and families who find themselves going through the same horrible nightmare are able to receive the same fantastic support.

To kick start my fundraising for 2017, I will be running the Torbay Half Marathon on the 25th June, before donning the lycra in late August and cycling the 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats in 12 days.
